Couples therapy

Online or in-person, this is designated for couples who want to improve their relationship by having open, respectful conversations, exploring pain points and learning new relational skills. Typically, meetings are bi-weekly. Here are some examples of topics that can be addressed during our sessions:

Individual therapy

Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals to organise their thoughts and get support on relational topics and to learn a new relational skillset. Individual sessions can be done as part of a couples therapy as well.

EMDR treatment

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma treatment that helps individuals process distressing memories and alleviate their associated emotional and psychological symptoms. It involves focusing on specific traumatic memories while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, taps, or sounds.
EMDR can be used to address a range of problems, including:
1. Distressing memories: EMDR can effectively address distressing memories unrelated to a specific disorder, helping individuals process and reduce their emotional impact.
2. Grief and loss: EMDR can facilitate the processing of grief and loss, enabling individuals to cope with the associated emotions and move forward in the healing process.3. Performance enhancement: EMDR coaching can be utilized to help individuals overcome performance-related anxieties or traumas that hinder their professional or personal achievements.
4. Goal setting and motivation: EMDR coaching may assist individuals in identifying and addressing any emotional barriers or past experiences that hinder their motivation or goal attainment.
5. Enhancing resilience: EMDR can help individuals build resilience and cope with difficult life experiences by identifying and reprocessing any related negative beliefs or traumatic memories.
6. Stress management: EMDR coaching may support individuals in managing stress by addressing the underlying emotional triggers and processing any associated traumatic experiences.
7. Self-confidence and self-esteem: EMDR coaching can be beneficial in addressing past events or negative self-beliefs that contribute to low self-confidence or self-esteem.
8. Overcoming limiting beliefs: EMDR coaching may assist individuals in challenging and reprocessing limiting beliefs that hinder personal growth and fulfillment.

Premarital workshop
(non-religious)

This workshop is meant for couples who are about to tie the knot. It’s a non-religious, one day course that helps you to build a strong foundation for your marriage and gives you a healthy start into your marriage. It’s meant to support you to talk about those topics that are usually not so easy to address.
We will talk about the following topics (note: you are more than welcome to bring in own topics as well!):
• Communication
• Money
• Self-discovery
• Family (family of origin and a potential future family)
• Sex & intimacy -
3 hours (tea/coffee included)
It is possible to split the workshop into two days of 1,5 hours. If you would like to do that, please write me at hannah@hannahhebenstreit.com

Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel an appointment, please make sure to cancel at least 48 hours in advance by telephone or email. Otherwise I won’t be able to reschedule the appointment for another couple and will have to charge you for the session.
Please note: Costs for relationship therapy are generally not covered by insurance.
Business Relationship Coaching

Online or in-person, this service is designed for business partners, co-founders, and colleagues to organize their thoughts and receive support on professional relational topics while developing a new set of collaborative skills. Individual sessions can be conducted as part of a broader business relationship counseling process as well.
