What you can expect
This non-religious premarital workshop is built from years of working with couples. I share what most couples only figure out the hard way, often years into their marriage.
Expect a mix of self-discovery, practical exercises and tools you can start using together right away.
Module 1
Family of origin
We’ll look at the families you each grew up in and the patterns, spoken and unspoken, you’ve carried into your relationship. Awareness brings choice, and once you can see where these patterns come from, you get to decide together which ones you want to keep and which ones you’d rather leave behind.
Module 2
Communication, conflict & repair
Every couple fights. What matters is how you find your way back to each other afterwards. In this module we’ll work on communicating in a way that actually gets heard, and build the skills to repair after a disagreement instead of letting it linger.
Money
Module 3
Money brings up more than numbers, it touches on security, fairness and the values you each grew up with. I’ll help you talk about finances openly, understand where your money habits come from, and find a shared approach before small misunderstandings turn into bigger ones.
Module 4
Sex & Intimacy
Intimacy is built, not found, and it includes both the emotional and the physical closeness between you. Together, we’ll explore what helps you feel close, what gets in the way, and how to stay connected as your relationship grows.

No, this workshop is entirely non-religious. It’s built on systemic couples therapy, not faith-based teaching, so it works whatever your background or beliefs.

We’ll work through four areas that tend to shape a marriage the most: the families you each grew up in, how you communicate and repair after conflict, how you relate to money, and what intimacy means to each of you. Expect a mix of self-discovery and practical tools you can start using together right away.

I offer the workshop in English, Dutch and German, so you can choose whichever feels most natural to work in together.

The workshop is €775 per couple. That covers all four modules, plus the exercises and tools you’ll take home to keep using long after we’re done. Many couples find it’s a small investment compared to the years it can save you figuring these things out on your own.
